Angel Eyes provides bereavement support to families whose lives have been impacted by the sudden, unexpected death of an infant or toddler, including SIDS, SUID, SUDC, miscarriage and stillbirth loss. We offer free professional bereavement counseling, a support group, peer connections, and community referrals to those who are grieving.

Our services are offered to adults, children, and couples who are searching to find meaning after the devastating loss of their precious infant or toddler. Angel Eyes helps those grieving get through the trauma, redefine who they are and find the path to recovery. We understand that parents and their loved ones have very special needs during this time and we do not want anyone to go through the death of their infant or toddler alone.

Angel Eyes provides bereavement services in all cases of sudden, unexpected infant and toddler death with the only exception being cases where there is parental involvement in the criminal justice system (e.g., homicides, assault, criminal neglect) as a result of the death.

In addition to the bereavement services, Angel Eyes also provides a comprehensive array of risk reduction and awareness services concerning sudden, unexpected infant and toddler death which includes but is not limited to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID), and Sudden Unexpected Death of a Child (SUDC).

Angel Eyes, formerly The Colorado SIDS Program, was incorporated in 1981 and represents a merger of the Colorado Chapter of the National SIDS Foundation, a parent organization formed in 1967, and the SIDS Information and Counseling Project, that was funded in 1976 through a federal grant. The Colorado SIDS Program was the first, and continues to be one of the few SIDS organizations to combine a parent and professional organization into one agency to provide a statewide approach to SIDS.

Effective January 1, 2008, Angel Eyes expanded its services to provide a comprehensive array of risk reduction and awareness services concerning sudden, unexpected infant and toddler death which includes but is not limited to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID). Angel Eyes now provides professional and compassionate bereavement services in all cases of sudden, unexpected infant and toddler death with the only exception being cases where there is parental involvement in the criminal justice system (e.g., homicides, assault, criminal neglect) as a result of the death. In 2014 Angel Eyes began serving clients who have experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth loss.
