Angel Eyes exists because of the help of people like you. There are several ways to help Angel Eyes succeed in its mission to provide support for survivors of child loss and provide community education to help reduce the occurrence of infant and child deaths.
Donations and Colorado Gives
Direct donations are a significant source of revenue that helps Angel Eyes provide services to Coloradans. We also accept donations in memoriam. Visit our donations page to make a secure contribution online.
Angel Eyes participates in ColoradoGives.org, a year-round website featuring nearly 1,500 Colorado nonprofits. The signature event of ColoradoGives.org is Colorado Gives Day, held in December. Learn more about Angel Eyes' participation in Colorado Gives Day.
Angel Eyes offers several opportunities to volunteer for your community, including helping with fundraising events, providing peer support and serving on the Angel Eyes Board of Directors. If you are interested in any of the volunteer opportunities below, please contact us for more details.
Claws for a Cause
Claws for a Cause, our steak and lobster sale, is in its 39th year! We need office help the week of the pick-up date (May 9 – 12, 2016 and June 13 – 17, 2016). Volunteers will answer phones, process orders, make copies and pack site boxes. The actual day of the event and pick-up requires the help of many volunteers. On May 14th and June 18th we will need volunteers to set-up, count/sort the lobsters and meat, deliver the product to the various pick-up sites, and staff the pick-up sites.
SUDS for SIDS Committee
Are you a connoisseur of Colorodo's many fine microbreweries? Then help us plan, organize and execute our annual SUDS for SIDS event. Committee members meet once a month (October through February) in the evening. Members are asked to develop relationships with Colorado microbreweries, solicit corporate sponsorships, collect silent auction items, work with vendors and set-up/tear down the event.
Providing peer support is a rewarding way to help others get through the difficult time following child loss. If you feel you have reached the point where you can offer peer support to individuals or families with similar experiences, please complete the Peer Contact Application and the Authorization for Release of Information, and contact the Angel Eyes Bereavement Counselor.
Angel Eyes Board of Directors
Angel Eyes is looking to grow our Board of Directors. Board members serve three year terms and are expected to attend monthly Board meetings, lead or participate in various committees, participate/volunteer in Angel Eyes Annual Fundraisers (SUDS for SIDS, Claws for a Cause and Angel Walk), and contribute financially to Angel Eyes. If you are interested in becoming a board member, complete the Board Application Packet. All applicants will be invited to attend a Board Meeting and meet with a Board Member before a decision is made.
