Allie Buss is a new addition to the Angel Eyes Board of Directors. She currently lives in Lakewood, Colorado, and was born and raised in Denver. Her family lost her older brother, Andrew, to SIDS. As Allie’s mom, Donna, volunteered and was on the Board of Directors, she spent a lot of time volunteering for Angel Eyes (formerly the Colorado SIDS Program) when she was young. Allie wanted to join the Board of Directors after recently moving back to Colorado from Washington, to give back to this wonderful organization that helps families during a very difficult time.
Scott has been in social work for 25 years and has supported families in several scenarios. In 2013 Scott was approached to volunteer by a SUDS for SIDS committee member and has been a huge contributor to the Beer Fest ever since. Because of his hard work and dedication to Angel Eyes, he was asked to serve on the Board beginning in 2018. Like many board members at Angel Eyes, Scott was affected by a sudden loss of a child when close family members lost their baby to SIDS. Although it occurred many years ago, he recognized the support the family needed back then and understands the needs of other families in similar circumstances.
Amber is new to the Angel Eyes Board of Directors. She lives in Brighton, Colorado and is the mother to two amazing children. Amber also lost her daughter Breanna to Neonatal Marfan Syndrome in May of 2015. She was immediately contacted by Angel Eyes and began her journey as an angel mom. Angel Eyes played a pivotal part in the unimaginable journey after the loss of a child. Amber and her husband Joe then started her own foundation in honor of her daughter and is the active president. The Breanna Caden Frei Foundation helps raise money for families struggling in any way with severely sick infants or toddlers.
Sara lives in Denver Colorado, she works as an esthetician and is new to the Angel Eyes organization. She loves the outdoors, spending time with her friends, and her work. Sara is passionate about giving back to her community and especially helping others, in any way, heal after the loss of a child.

Laura lost her third child, Terrah, to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 1994 and Angel Eyes (formerly called The Colorado SIDS Program) reached out immediately. Laura has hosted lobster dinners for over 200 guests, founded the Angel Walk (formally the Walk to Remember) as well as, On The Wings Of Angels Motorcycle Poker Run in 2016. In 2014, she joined the Board of Directors. “Now that my children are grown, they too support Angel Eyes by volunteering and chairing events. It is our family’s way of honoring Terrah.”
